Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 4, 2026 · Version 1.0
1.Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) establishes the standards of behavior expected of all users of the EduAgentic platform. Our platform is an educational environment, and all users are expected to act in a manner that supports learning, safety, and mutual respect.
2.Expected Behavior
All users are expected to: treat other users with respect and courtesy; use the platform for legitimate educational purposes; protect their account credentials and not share them with others; report technical issues, security concerns, or inappropriate behavior; respect intellectual property rights and give proper attribution; communicate constructively in discussions and collaborative activities.
Teachers and administrators have additional responsibilities to model appropriate behavior, create inclusive learning environments, and respond promptly to reports of policy violations.
3.Prohibited Activities
Users must not: harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten other users; post or share content that is violent, hateful, sexually explicit, or discriminatory; attempt to access another user's account or personal data; circumvent platform security measures, access controls, or content filters; use the platform for commercial purposes unrelated to education (spam, advertising, solicitation); upload malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
Users must not: impersonate other users, teachers, or administrators; manipulate gamification systems through automated tools, bots, or exploits; share referral or invite codes publicly or use them for unauthorized access; create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages; collect or harvest other users' personal information.
Teachers and content creators must not: upload content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights; share student data outside the platform without proper authorization; use student data for purposes unrelated to education; disable or undermine safety features designed to protect minors.
4.Content Standards
All content created on the platform (discussions, art projects, assignments, course materials) must be: appropriate for the educational context and the age groups using the platform; free from hate speech, discrimination, and personal attacks; original or properly attributed when using third-party materials; compliant with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
Content moderation may be applied automatically and by administrators. Content that violates these standards will be removed, and the user may face consequences as described below.
5.Academic Integrity
Students are expected to complete their own work honestly. The following are considered violations of academic integrity: submitting another student's work as your own (plagiarism); sharing assessment answers or solutions with other students; using unauthorized materials during assessments; manipulating assessment results through technical means.
Teachers are responsible for setting clear expectations about academic integrity and for using the platform's tools (such as proctoring features and submission analysis) to maintain assessment validity.
6.AI Feature Usage
The platform may include AI-powered features (such as personalized learning recommendations, content generation tools, and adaptive assessments). Users should understand that: AI features are tools to support learning, not replacements for genuine understanding; AI-generated suggestions may not always be accurate and should be verified; AI interactions on the platform may be logged for quality improvement; using AI tools does not exempt users from academic integrity requirements.
AI features are part of the platform for everyone who uses it; there is no switch for them. For a child under the age of digital consent in a home-learning organisation, a parent or guardian first switches on AI for learning; pupils of a school, college or academy are covered by their institution.
7.Reporting Violations
If you observe a violation of this policy, please report it immediately through the platform's reporting tools, by notifying a teacher or administrator, or by contacting us at safety@eduagentic.com. All reports will be investigated promptly and treated with appropriate confidentiality.
8.Consequences
Violations of this policy may result in: warning and educational guidance (first minor offense); temporary suspension of platform features; temporary account suspension; permanent account termination (for severe or repeated violations). The severity of consequences will be proportionate to the violation and the user's history.
For minor students, parents/guardians will be notified of any policy violations and consequences. Schools and institutions may apply additional disciplinary measures in accordance with their own policies.
